In 2016 local embroidery and uniform company, Sew Shore, turned 30 years old. Former owner, Steve Sherman, enacted a long term retirement plan by selling the business to partner Jason Marshall and Marshall’s industry friend Albert Saliev.
Marshall (President) and Saliev (Vice President) established a new parent company, United Uniforms USA, Inc. Under their new operation, United Uniforms will be the goods & retail side of the business and Sew Shore will be the services side of business with embroidery, printing, graphic design, and alterations.
About 4 years ago, Marshall had a vision to expand the uniform retail market and extend Sew Shore’s footprint to the North Naples area. This April, that vision becomes a reality. United Uniforms, with services provided by Sew Shore, opens in the Green Tree shopping center in the former M&M’s uniform location on Monday, April 3. “The entire unit has been renovated…” Marshall explains. “We make a conscious effort to make improvements with each change.” The newly renovated unit will feature 3 fitting rooms, 2 registers, new lighting and United Uniforms overall signature look.
Though United Uniforms provides all types of uniforms, this particular retail location will focus primarily in medical uniforms and accessories and some chef apparel. The Green Tree location will also be a dropoff and pickup location for Sew Shore services. “A Sew Shore staff member will follow up with the customer when an order is dropped off. Our staff at Green Tree will focus strictly on the retail side of business”. United Uniforms will stock their top selling scrub brands in colors that cater to their local clientele. Payroll deduction will be available to NCH employees, and discounts will be provided to all local hospitals and select groups.
United Uniforms at Green Tree will be open Mon-Fri 10am to 6pm and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
Marshall & Saliev explain their Beck Blvd. location at Tollgate plaza will remain their flagship store. At 6000sqft, the Tollgate location carries significantly more uniforms and brands, which will continue to drive traffic to that specific location. Embroidery, alterations, and printing services are on premise at the south location. Marshall encourages the curious to “come out and take a tour of our facility and hear our story.” The Beck Blvd location has changed it’s hours to Mon-Fri 9:00am to 5pm and CLOSED on Saturdays.
